United Methodist Youth have begun a campaign to help build water wells in Liberia and other areas where clean water is almost non-existant.

The statistics are staggering! Do you have any idea how many thousands of people die every year due to the lack of clean water? Do you know that the average shower takes seven gallons of water? Flush a toilet, five gallons -- every time. Brush your teeth, two gallons (isn't that incredible?).

Yet many people across the world have access to five gallons or less a day.

Working and wishing for water

Use a water bottle to make a bank. Or use a jar. Put your change in it

during the month of December. How many wells can we help build?
